If creative is allowing these links to stay up on their forums, I'm guessing we can leave them hear for now. Saying that, at least I can discuss it. I'm obtaining it via a bitorrent link posted in their forums.

All I really want or need is the THX software to handle a few things like sub crossover and varying speaker differences. I'm still not sure why Creative feels the need to charge for a CD for this. Morrowind patch project. I guess they don't want to pay for the bandwidth (well, duh!), so I can also see why tey're leaving BT links and off site links to the software suite on their forums. If this is real, I might just upgrade to an X-Fi since proper software support for my Audigy 2 ZS is a pipe dream. Where can i shoot guns. Not to mention that they will be charging Audigy users for ALchemy. On the bright side, at least Audigy users aren't mistreated that poorly.

My friend's in a deep hole of crap. His Live 24-bit card not only has terribly half-assed support on Vista (no option to select 5.1, how about that?), but the kX drivers that are the only options for Live users don't work with the 24-bit card. Tough luck.:pinch.
