The Send/Receive command disappeared from the standard toolbar in Outlook 2003. When I try to customize the toolbar to add it back, the Send/Receive.

I do app development for clients in Access 2003, 2007 and 2010. I have the Office 2010 Pro Plus package installed on Windows 7 Pro x64. I have kept Access 2003 and 2007 and 2010 installed and replaced all other apps with Office 2010 equivalents. Here's the problem. After switching between Access 2010 and Access 2007, when I open Outlook 2010, the Send/Receive All Folders button on the Outlook Home tab is no longer there (or anywhere else). I have no way to make Outlook retrieve my email. Running Access 2010 to start the switch to the 2010 settings doesn't help.

The only solution I've found so far is to do a repair of the Office 2010 install. I can't see doing this indefinately. I sure hope there's a fix. The problem isn't with having email accounts. I have three POP accounts and all are set up and work fine.

The problem has to do with the conversion activity Office does when one switches between Access 2010 and Access 2007. That conversion process, which happens anytime a user switches versions of Access (and probably any other version switch of Office components) takes about two minutes while the system puts up a message saying it's installing the required components for that version of Office. When I only had Access 2003 and 2007, I could go back and forth, including the conversion process, with no trouble. Now, since installing Office 2010, when I go between Access 2010 and 2007, Outlook 2010's send/receive button disappears.
