Where else would you be able to apply this exclusion? A: We agree with your assessment of the pregnancy exclusion and its application to female members. We occasionally found billing errors where these codes were used with male members. The HEDIS software certification program will be changing the way they test for pregnancy and will only be testing/allowing this exclusion for female members. A: We are assuming you are referring to the MRP (Medication Reconciliation) measure. Both the MRP measure and the Transition of Care (TRC) measure will be reported to NCQA in HEDIS 2018. The Transitions of Care (TRC) measure is a first year measure for HEDIS 2018 and NCQA does not publicly report data for first year measures.
